One of the largest annual packaging machinery shows in Indonesia is being held once more on September 8~11, 2004.

Located at the prestigious Jakarta International Fair Ground - Kemayoran, the exhibition has been successfully attracting more than 25,000 visitors in the past. In this event, we are exhibiting a complete line of bottle filling, starting from bottle unscrambler up to robotic palletizer. Furthermore, we are also exhibiting the first robotic cup picking and packing for mineral water industries that mark such evolution in the world. Our booth number is Hall A, 1500~1600.

FG Ziegler at Cikarang Plant is officially opened as ABB Robotics Certified Partner

Another important event has occurred on November 01, 2003 as FG Industries Cikarang Plant is officially opened. Located inside Industrial Complex Jababeka II in Cikarang, Bekasi, approximately 120 km East of Jakarta, the plant will be used as the center of FG Industries Robotic Handling.

ABB Technologies Sweden has appointed FG Industries, through its sub-business unit, FG Ziegler, as ABB Certified Partner on ABB Global Partnership Program based in Indonesia. It means FG Ziegler act as a certified system integrator for ABB robots and is authorized to integrate, install, as well as sell ABB robots or automated system.

FG Fillomatic to apply Endress + Hauser Flow Meter Technology

Starting from October 2002 onwards, German-based measurement instrumentation company, Endress + Hauser (EH) has been collaborating with FG Industries to provide series of advanced flow meter-based filling machines in the industries.

The dosing-application types of E+H Dosimag & Promass have been applied to replace the existing FG conventional volumetric filling systems. Major users for such systems include the multi-national companies Wing's and Lion Corp with almost 20 lines have been delivered and installed up to this date. Future development program covers the rotary-type flow meter filling machine for high-speed high-accuracy filling applications.

Technical Cooperation between FG Industries and Gernep

Gernep GmbH of Barbing, a German-based labelling machine manufacturer, has been well-known to supply world class high-speed labelling machine since '80s. Gernep machines range from Labetta patch labeller up to Rollina wrap-around labeller, utilizing cold-glue, hot-melt, or self-adhesive media.

By April 2002, FG Cassini, a sub-business unit of FG Industries dealing in labelling system, has joined hands with Gernep to supply economical types FG-Gernep Labetta & Rollina targeted mainly for medium to low performance applications where cost is considered to be the main issue. Cost-saving is being achieved by integrating basic Gernep Labetta & Rollina machines with FG labelling applicators.
